Learn Trimix Diving in Malta
Are you ready to take your diving experiences to new? Perhaps you've dreamt of exploring historic wrecks lying deep beneath the ocean's surface or venturing into the mysterious depths of intricate cave systems. The TDI Trimix Diver Course offers you the opportunity to turn those aspirations into reality. As your passion for underwater exploration evolves, you'll inevitably yearn to delve deeper into the mesmerizing underwater world. Yet, diving deeper comes with its own set of challenges, primarily the debilitating effects of narcosis.
The TDI Trimix Diver course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to conquer this limitation by incorporating helium into your breathing gas to counteract the effects of nitrogen. During this comprehensive course, your experienced TDI Instructor will not only guide you through the intricacies of dive planning and execution but also teach you how to safely utilize breathing gases with as little as 18 percent oxygen. The ultimate goal is to enable you to explore depths of up to 60 meters (200 feet) with a precisely blended helium mixture suitable for your planned dive, ensuring you can experience the depths of the ocean like never before.
To enrol onto the TDI Trimix Diver program you must be 18yrs of age, have logged at least 100 dives and be certified as at least a TDI Advanced Nitrox AND Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent).
ONLINE LEARNING
Prior to joining us in Gozo, Malta for your course, you are required to finish the online study component of the course.
INWater Skills
The inwater skills dives are completed in sheltered areas to allow you to build skills introduced by your Toby in small steps.
Open Water dives
Once you can repeat the skills in a relaxed way, Toby will take you diving and complete the certifiying dives of the course!
TDI Helitrox Diver Course in Malta & Gozo
In the TDI Trimix Diver Course, you'll embark on an extensive journey designed to empower you with the expertise needed for advanced decompression dive planning, ensuring your preparedness for deep-sea exploration. Among these are gas planning, which involves a detailed exploration of factors like equivalent narcotic depths, nitrogen and helium absorption and elimination, CNS and OTU limits, Isobaric Counter diffusion, and volume requirements. The Trimix Diver Course trains you on how to select the most suitable decompression gases appropriate for your next dives.
