TDI DECO PROCEDURES DIVER IN MALTA & GOZO
By taking the TDI Decompression Procedures Course, you can learn how to safely engage in staged decompression diving with a twinset or sidemount system.
The TDI Decompression Procedures Course is designed to equip you with the necessary skills for staged decompression diving, which goes beyond the usual sport diving limits, with a maximum operating depth of 45 meters/150 feet. Completing this course, along with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course, will provide a solid foundation for all future technical courses. Once you have gained additional experience, you can progress to higher technical levels.
Learn Deco Procedures in Malta
The TDI Decompression Procedures Course is suitable for certified Advanced Divers who wish to broaden their understanding of decompression theory and diving techniques. Additionally, those interested in extending their bottom time or advancing their technical diving education can benefit from this course.
To enroll in the TDI Decompression Procedures Course, candidates must meet several prerequisites. These include being at least 18 years old, holding a certification of SDI Advanced Adventure Diver, Advanced Diver, or an equivalent qualification, and providing proof of 25 logged open water dives.
In the TDI Decompression Procedures Course, you can expect to learn about various aspects of decompression diving, such as dive planning, gas selection, and decompression procedures. The course covers emergency and contingency planning, as well as equipment selection and pre-dive checks. You will also learn stress analysis and mitigation techniques, how to follow a decompression schedule, and gas switching. Prior to joining us in Gozo, Malta for your course, you are required to finish the online study component of the course.
INWater Skills
The inwater skills dives are completed in sheltered areas to allow you to build skills introduced by your Toby in small steps.
Open Water dives
Once you can repeat the skills in a relaxed way, Toby will take you diving and complete the certifiying dives of the course!
