TDI AIR DILUENT REBREATHER DIVER IN MALTA & GOZO

The TDI Air Diluent Rebreather Diver course is your first step into closed circuit rebreather diving, giving you a nitrox blending machine on your back.

The TDI Rebreather Air Diluent Diver Course is the initial phase towards closed circuit rebreather diving. The course offers a unique and peaceful dive experience. This course employs advanced CCR technology to optimize gas supply, ensuring a consistent partial pressure of oxygen suitable for all depths. Essentially, it's akin to having a personal nitrox blending apparatus attached to your back!

Learn Rebreather Diving in Malta

If you're a certified diver interested in expanding your diving experience through the use of a rebreather, the TDI CCR Air Diluent Diver course is ideal for advancing your training and equipment knowledge. Whether you're a passionate photographer, seeking the quiet of a rebreather dive, or desiring to get closer to marine life, rebreather diving is a perfect fit.

This course offers a comprehensive exploration of rebreather diving, covering topics such as the history and development of rebreathers, comparisons of open circuit (OC), closed circuit, and semi-closed circuit rebreather (SCR) systems with their advantages and drawbacks, and practical aspects of the system mechanics. You will also learn about gas physiology, proper scrubber packing in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, electronic or manual system design and maintenance, dive tables, dive computers, dive planning, emergency procedures, dive checklists, and predive checks.

Upon finishing the TDI Air Diluent Diver course successfully, students are eligible to engage in diving activities using the CCR they were trained to use without the direct supervision of a TDI Instructor, provided that they comply with certain restrictions. These limitations include conducting dives that resemble the ones performed during training, staying in areas similar to those where training took place, experiencing environmental conditions that are comparable to training, and diving no deeper than 30 meters/100 feet. It's also important to note that no decompression dives are allowed.

Before working with Toby, I'd never dived. Now I confidently dive 40m wreck on nitrox. I owe that entirely to his teaching, encouragement and (in no small measure) his patience. Both in and out of the water, his instruction and professionalism dispelled any anxieties I had and ensured I felt safe throughout.
