I will provide students with a map of the dive site, and they will be required to use the map to navigate their way around the site. ONLINE LEARNING
The study portion of the RAID Navigation Diver course is completed online before you join us for your course here in Gozo, Malta.
INWater Skills
The inwater skills dives are completed in sheltered areas to allow you to build skills introduced by your instructor in small steps.
Open Water dives
Once you can repeat the skills in a relaxed way, your instructor will take you diving and complete the certifiying dives of the RAID Navigation Diver!

Another unique aspect of the course is the use of technology. I uses a variety of tools to help students improve their navigational skills. For example, he uses a GPS tracker to monitor the location of the students during the dive, and he also uses a video camera to record the dive so that students can review their performance and identify areas for improvement.
