The inwater skills dives are completed in sheltered areas to allow you to build skills introduced by your instructor in small steps.
Open Water dives
Once you can repeat the skills in a relaxed way, your instructor will take you diving and complete the certifiying dives of the RAID Deco 40M Diver!
The RAID Deco 40 Diver in Gozo
Choosing to undertake this training in Gozo offers a multitude of benefits. In addition to acquiring knowledge about equipment considerations, risk assessment and redundancy measures, and limit-setting based on environmental factors, your personal abilities, previous diving experiences, and proximity to emergency care, you will also learn about the effects of nitrogen narcosis, decompression illness (DCI), and re-compression chamber procedures.
Additionally, you will receive guidance on planning and utilizing various gases, including a recreational tri-mix option. With these skills and insights at your disposal, you'll be fully equipped to embark on unforgettable underwater adventures in Gozo's stunning and diverse aquatic environments.
During the RAID Deco 40M Diver course you will learn the history of deep diving and the reasons for deep diving. We will look at your personal diving equipment and specialised equipment for deep diving. You will learn about physics and physiology for deep diving along with managing the planning procedures for deep diving.
